I am pretty sure they changed that last year, it has a prompt that comes saying you have to purchase a license. I usually buy it just so I don’t get screwed out of the tag.

I was under the impression that you had to buy it, not certain what is required in hindsight. I did just get a response back from KDWPT that I can mail it back for a refund of $97.50. I was hoping they would offer me a tag instead. . Can't complain that they are willing to give me a refund for it.
