Its normally a really good time. I won't be there this year. Can't figure out why my wife wouldn't take the day off and stay home with the 4 kids.

I'm not that far away (4 hours). Can someone explain a little more what the expo is? Basically an archery show for trad stuff? Able to shoot bows, etc? Would it be kid friendly?

Definitely kid friendly and kids under 12 are free. Yes you can shoot custom bow from different bowers and this show is specifically geared towards traditional shooters. Here is a list of vendors from a different forum that will be there.

Sadly due to the Passing of G.Fred, Teresa and Asbell wool will not be able to attend.

I drove from St. Louis up to Kzoo with my wife and best friend and his wife to the show this weekend. What a great time. I shot a few bows and talked to South Cox for an hour. The crowd was great and the show was awesome. I did not buy a bow, but there were plenty to shoot and hold. We are going to make it an annual trip.
