I recently bought a Browning Mark 3 BAR BDM semi-auto .308win with 10 round magazine. It seems like I'm falling into a rabbit hole. I've bought an auto powder dispenser($300+), and extra magazine($100), Red dot scope and a Nikon 3-9 Scope ($300), bullets, powders, and I haven't been able to go out to shoot it, because of the weather in Oregon.
My Hornady Auto charge Pro is consistently over throwing by.2-.25 grains. It's level, but in the garage which is around 60 degrees. Maybe it's the temperature or humidity? I'm thinking of sending it back to Scheels. Anyone have suggestions on the Hornady?
It's been a rabbit hole all the way!

You have not even started digging your hole yet.

Can't help you on your dispenser.... I've been hand trickling for decades. I did just order an auto dispenser, but not the same one and it's not arrived yet.

Are you confirming charge weight with a known good scale? I have a hornady digital scale that has always been a full grain heavy, but it been consistent for years.... I don't use it much anymore.

On the Auto Chargo, adjust the speed and time to slow down the trickle. When I had one, I think I was using 0.1 speed and 0.7 time. It would do probably 19/20 on the money.

Towards the end, I would stop it 0.1-0.2 grains shy and hand trickle the rest.

I have a pocket Maxxus scale, which is very accurate, it is dead on with my RCBS M500.

I’ve been playing with the settings. Maybe I’ll factory reset it and start over. I’ve had 2 Intellidropper 2.0’s. The first one was overthrowing badly. The second one had a crooked trickle tube and the motor had a wobble sound. Now I’m trying the Hornady. It seems hit and miss with these units! I’ll keep returning them until I get the right one, I guess!!
