Just sold my lift...now what?

welp, I had every intention on waiting until mid November to shoot the new mathews, but found an absolute steal on a brand new lift x in the color I was wanting. As much as I wanted to wait for the new one, I doubt whatever they change is worth the $400 I saved. Here's to more shooting!

I find myself in the same boat... i am new to archery and bought a 2019 realm as a starter. It now needs new strings, and i am contemplating making it a backup and getting a newer bow for next year. I have next to zero experience with newer bows, but i think something longer than 30" ATA might be worth it...
the nice thing about buying a used bow is if you have an eye for a deal, you can buy one, try it for a bit, and if you don't like it you can probably get most if not all of your money back by selling.

Definitely thinking of scooping up a 2024 or 2025 model, used or old stock. I don’t have any good shops near me so something like the lift X that’s almost completely tunable without a press is awesome. Although the new darton has caught my eye…

The new Mathew’s have an all new cam and they are offering a smooth mod as well. Slick new brown color as well. Both the 30 inch and 34 inch model are lighter and smidge faster then the lift x.

Price increased 79 bucks on each per map pricing. Official release is nov 17-19 I can’t remember what the regional rep told me.

I will see if the new cam is any smoother, I just can’t get over how stiff the Switchweight cams are. I have an older 70lb bowtech insanity that drew easier then any of the Switchweight cams I’m owned / tuned at the same weight by a landslide. At 60 they are decent but still too stiff imo.

I’m sure mfjj with blow out the remaining lift x online like he did with the lift. He was offering brand new lifts for 850 bucks over the summer shipped anywhere in the nation. Screaming deal, and he can do it since he sells more Mathews then anyone else in the nation.

This is all good intel. Thanks for sharing. I am intrigued.

How do you know that Mathew's is making a smooth mod and new cam?
I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years and know a pile of people. Very close relationships with people in the industry.

I’ve said enough already and already got a pile of pms haha.

Go visit your local dealer, a bunch of them already have the specs sheets and order forms. Try to find a top 100 dealer in the nation if you can, even better the top per your state. Mathews really takes care of their dealers who move massive amounts of volume.

My local shop sold over 400 lift x last year and we are in bfe South Carolina, but he’s been a Mathews dealer since the start of it all in 92 and knows the products and consumers.

Man that's amazing. I was just telling my dad (a Lift X owner), I really wanted a smooth mod from mathews:) I almost bought the Lift x last year, but ended up with a darton sequel because the draw is so great. I'm keeping the Darton as my target bow. But this year I'm going for a 30in ATA for something in the mountains for elk and waiting to see what Mathews does at the ATA. This is awesome news! Thanks!!!
