Just my luck - Defective Sig ZULU6 HDX

Does anyone know if Sig is sticking to their quoted 2-4 week optic repair/replacement turnaround times?

I just got a set of Sig ZULU6 HDX 16x42 binoculars. Once the excitement of image stabilization wore off (it's pretty cool), I realized the right barrel wouldn't come into focus. It's not my eyes--they're corrected to 20/20. So, off they go to Sig.

I'm not sure what I'll do with them when they come back to me. If they replace them, may sell the new pair. After owning a bunch of Swarovski optics without issue, this sours me a bit on Sig.

My first set was an absolute lemon. Focus knob was really loose, it had about 1/4” freeplay before catching while going back and forth. Sent it back, returned with no change, sent it back a second time after showing them a video of the issue and they replaced with a new pair. That was back in July. Turnarounds were quick (1-2 weeks) but make sure you tell them in extreme detail or else they might just think it’s fine. Another guy on here had the new pros that sucked for clarity and they said that’s just how they are..
Im not a fan of Sig as an optics company but they’re the only decent ones in the lightweight stabilized game for now.

Thanks, hopefully I'll get one of those quick turnarounds. I was very detailed about the issue and the steps I went through to confirm 🤞
