Just curious if anybody has an Outlier suppressor

I've got an Outlier 6.5CM barrel from Outlier and, for the price, I'm pleased with it. Seems the chambering and rifling was done with care and they cut the costs on final finish. I'm ok with that. Really don't care what my barrel looks like on the outside.

I've seen that they now have the carbon Backdraft barrels paired with a Backdraft suppressor. You can order the suppressor with a rear cap that turns it into a normal suppressor. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with just the suppressor?

Seems like this is a "No!". They are fairly new. I don't know anybody that has one and I'm kind of skeptical of Youtube reviews.

I'd like to see one of their Backdraft barrels, I was pretty interested and was going to bug them to see one...they are about 30 minutes from me but then realized most of their stuff is longer barrels and that killed the desire for me.

It's the same group that owns Arken optics I believe.

I just today got a call from the gun Smith. I had to take my barrel to a Smith because it wouldn't go and no go. He said he has to do some chamber work on it. It has been over a year since I started this journey with outlier and the barrel isn't chambered right. So many things have gone wrong its insane.

Yes I have both.

I have not fired the suppressor, I did have to source plan B options from other vendors to make it fit on other rifles but I never fired it. Outlier suppressors are not all rated the same, they have two teirs of strength and they are made of aluminum and not full auto rated but they are light. I hope that helps.

My chamber would not go and no go, he just said he had to put it on the lathe. I'm actually trying to get ahold of them right now.

I’m still waiting on my can from them I went with the 5” poacher for the 20” 7prc. They said 8-10 week wait they aren’t the best at communicating is my only real issue with them. No problems with the chambering I haven’t started reloading for it yet waiting on the suppressor, I did buy some hornady 180 eldm and shot it with my banish suppressor direct thread. The hornady ammo was less than match imo es of 90 sd around 43ish. But none the less first 20 rounds out of barrel it shot decent enough to hit 6” steel at 600 3 out of 5 in a stiff 15mph crosswind. Once I get the suppressor I will do some load work for it and see how it shoots and post back what it does.
I’m kinda curious what the gunsmith was doing with the barrel mentioned above on the lathe however.
