Ive never owned a suppressor and honestly dont shoot all that much. How is the sound between the 2 first off, and second I know the ab weighs more but does it really make that much difference on a 20 inch barrel?
I guess I should add that this will be mainly staying on a 243 or 6 arc im gonna get, with it possibly going on a 308 occassionally tho doubtful.

I have never heard a Jolene S, but I have heard an AB10 with 5” bull barrel reflex. It was one of the quietest suppressors I’ve heard in person and ranks with the nomad LTi and TBAC 338 ultra.

I assumed he was asking about the A-10 can rather than a raptor 10 stack, @bnsafe maybe clarify if you're talking about a AB raptor 10 or A-10 because they are quite different.

Apologies for offering an opinion that does not answer your question.
I have a regular Jolene that came with a non-concentric mount. Resilient replaced it with a non-baffled DTA that was more concentric, but not nearly as good as a third party mount.
I am also aware of an owner of the Jolene S who had it fail Scythe style.
Learning about that is why I purchased a Reaper. My son and his lesser powered rifle will host the Jolene, and I’ll use a KGM R30 on the 300WM until the Reaper arrives.

does the extra weight throw it out of balance on say a 20 inch barrel

Not a question that can be easily answered. Not every gun with a 20" barrel balances the same and one person's idea of well balanced might not be another's. In general I wouldn't think a 12 ounce can would be too bad.

Mine balances fine on a 22” the way I have it setup and not fighting it wanting to “nose dive” if that’s what you’re asking. But no doubt if the barrel was shorter it would be better.

sorry for all the questions, again just first can so wanna get it as close to right as possible. how does the silencer shop omega dtm compare to these to cans. sound wise, I know the weight is right in that range

I would not get an Omega over an A-10. The A-10 is a legit can. I would not get anything from SilencerCo.

I’ve got a Jolene S… also have Yhm resonators, a DD enticer sti and a resilient simple man.
No complaints on the Jolene S.. it’s the lightest and shortest can I own… have only shot it once or twice out in the field without muffs and it sounded great.
Single shot trust from SS is simple and I’d recommend getting one.

I have an AB A 10 7.62, get one

I did an individual trust through SS. I think the whole process took 2 weeks.

Of course, the government is shut down, so who know how long it'll take now
