Joel Turner Elk Calling DVD

DIY elk hunter here. My hunting partners and I have been getting much more serious about preparation for elk season, including calling. This season, I am going to exclusively be calling with my brother-in-law as the shooter. Since part of the success of his hunt is riding on my ability to call, I really need to step up my abilities. I have heard about Joel Turner’s calling tactics from several podcasts that he has been the guest on, and his approach really resonated with me.

Does anyone know where to buy his Instinctive Elk Calling DVD? At best as I can tell, A & H was handling the distribution, but they have since quit selling it. Between the podcasts and elknut DVDs/playbook, I am sure I have more information than I could ever make use of but am always looking for more elk info. I have a want-to-buy post for it in the classifieds but nobody has responded about it.

I don't know where to buy it if A&H doesn't carry it. Did you try contacting Joel directly? He's a very responsive and helpful guy. Some of his info is on utube.com as well.
I've been doing the same as you and really trying to improve my calling. Lots of good stuff out there between Elk nut, Joel, Cory Jacobson, and a host of others. I try to listen to as many different opinions and techniques as I can find. Utube.com is a good source to start with. Find the ones that resonate with you and then invest in their DVD's.

I’m always listening to the stuff from Jason Phelps, Steve Chappell, Corey Jacobsen, Elknut, Chris Roe, Joel Turner, etc. through all available sources. I’m sure I’ve got all I need, but I just wanted to be able to check out Joel’s DVD. His methodology or maybe it is just his delivery of the information really resonated with me.
