JK Armament Suppressors?

I am currently looking to purchase my first suppressor. It will be strictly a hunting can used on .243, 6.5 cm, 7-08 and .223 bolt guns. I am looking at the Jk 155 RCX 30 or 155 Versax 30, but found little mention of it in the other threads. Also considering Q half Nelson, Harvestor Evo (out of stock), gemtech tracker, and griffin sportsman ultralight 300. I’d love to hear first hand experience with any of them. Appreciate any input, and I apologize for another “which suppressor” thread.

After a morning of research I think the harvester evo is what I’m looking for. I’ll just have to wait for it to come back into stock at silencer shop.

@Formidilosus

I ordered a JK when they were doing form 1's. Well my form 1 bought me a nasty gram from the atf. Nothing lost but time, have a JK in form 4 jail. My serial # was super low, so guessing not too many people have one in hand yet unless it was the form 1 version.

Thanks for the link! I found another site with it in stock earlier and called my local dealer to ask about the transfer process. He told me I’d be better off waiting for silencer shop in order to avoid the transfer fee. Seems pretty streamlined with silencer shop, so not sure what to expect using another shop/dealer.

I didn’t realize it until I did some digging this morning, but it sounds like they just releases the form 4 line in april or something. Definitely a bit early on for much feedback on them. Thanks for the response, which model did you go with?

I have a JK titanium form 1 version I drilled to 30 cal for my 300bo AR, it works well on that. It was my first can but it's nowhere near as nice as the few AB raptors I have now when it comes to suppression, in my opinion. I wonder if there's a big difference in their new versions compared to the form 1 kits

My model is an all aluminum .30 cal. Plan is for it to ride bolt action rifles, so up to 10 round strings shouldn't be an issue. What sold me initially was how nice it was for a form 1, with a jig, and the modularity (overall length, end caps, different threads on rifle side).

Absolutely no hassle when I needed to go form 4, figured they deserved the business just based on that interaction. There was recent article, can't remember where, talking about the players involved with the company and the depth of their background w suppressors.

Beyond that I'll report back when I get it in hand, though I only have access to 1 other can to compare it to. I was able to handle it a my LGS. It is light, really light, and seemingly well constructed.

Thanks for the input. Found a local dealer whose website says they have the evo in stock. I’ll have to call tomorrow and see what’s up.

One of the local shops had the Evo in stock, so I bought it. Still curious to hear reports on the JK suppressors as people get some time with them!
