MLD will install a stove jack for $70 or $80 and they take a long time to get them out. I ordered a supermid on 3/1/18 and it hasn't shipped yet.

Looks like Jimmy added a few inches in height and corner and side guyouts to the Hudson this year which is nice.

What podcast was he on?
From what I have read Jimmy has s good build quality.
But yes I'd agree not all of his designers are 70mph snow load bomb proof.
I ordered a small trap and bivy just the other day , he was easy to talk to and had it shipped the next day. I'm just gone.
I wanted light weight early season gear without a bunch of weight added gizmos.
Im gonna check out the Hudson at NW Mtn Challenge.
Excited he added more guysouts.
Im interested in how it sets up.
Do not like how in pics it looks like the stove is in an awkward spot.
I have no doubt it will have an acceptable service life for me.
I really think people get caught up in it wanting to last forever.
As long as it doesn't tear wide open mid trip and leave me completely f###ed I'm ok with having to replace it every once in awhile.
For sure its gonna last 60 nights rite. That's under $6 per night and prob 3 years fir most guys.
If u didn't like it u could st that time afford something u think will be better.
Imo
