These should be resolable, right? I'm wondering how hard it would be to find a more aggressive sole and find someone that could do that work.

They are. I wonder the same.

That said I think if a bunch of us emailed them and showed interest they would consider a beefier barefoot sole.

I picked up a set of the rugged troopers. My immediate thought was im normally an 11 and probably could downsize to 10.5 here. Inalso immediately feel the lack of any padding on my heel, I imagine that is part of the break in. I bought the schnees kestral first in a search for a warm weather boot.

I also ordered the new crispi uplands go compare. Should have those in a few days.

Do they come with an insole? None of my Jim greens came with an insole and imo they needed one.
