Jetstream vs Kelvin Lite Vest

Anyone have experience with both of these? I got a Kelvin Lite vest a few days ago, and I'm contemplating sending it back and getting a Jetstream instead.

Can anyone tell me the warmth difference between the two? I know the Kelvin Lite vest is warm for its weight, but its so thin that I'm wondering how warm it can really be - like is it that much warmer than a Jetstream would be?

I like the Kelvin Lite for a laying piece (not sure how guys layer with the regular Kelvin - its so puffy and big), but thats basically all it is..The material is not really suited to be an outer layer, whereas the Jetstream would make a great layering piece and a nice outer piece in the earlier season, so I see it as being more versitile - I just don't want something that isn't going to be as warm (or at least close) as the Kelvin Lite.

I love my jetstream vest, I wear it probably more than anything else. Under jackets and over jackets, it's my wind stopper peice that's always with me. When I'm hiking in I can wear the first lite llano and the vest and be warm enough down to 0 or still comfortable at 40+ degrees.

I don't have a kelvin vest, but I have the kelvin lite jacket and it's warm.

I think it's all about how you layer. For me...first lite llano, Sitka traverse, jetstream vest, with a Sitka or first lite puffy and I am good 95% of the time.

I have the Jetstream and the regular Kelvin vest (have never seen the lite) and really like them both. I use the regular Kelvin to layer in colder weather with no issues under with it's puffiness. The Jetstream is more of an additional layer during bow season here in VA and is great blocking the wind. It will also be the vest I take elk hunting next year. These 2 are worlds apart in warmth but the lite maybe closer to the Jetstream.

I don't have the kelvin but do have another puffy vest and wear the jetstream almost every time over it. So versitile and just the right weight Always wear it with a base layer or two depending on how cold it is. Fits great under a puffy jacket too. It's definitely my favorite piece of hunting clothing and I'm usually not a vest guy.
