What's yore thoughts?

I see that the Jetstream has wind stopper in it and I'm wondering if the guide jacket is equally wind proof. Kuiu's website says the guide is wind resistant

I really like my jet steam jacket, it's a rare hunt anywhere that it doesn't get packed. Good warmth to weight ratio, breaths decent and cuts the wind excellent.

Have never worn a Guide jacket, but I have a Jetstream jacket and I love it. Very wind resistant, light, and fits great.

How is the fit? True to size or should I go a larger size. I wear either a medium or large depending on the cut. I'm 5'6 and in decent shape ,not overwieght but I'm not some fitness freak either. Just a normal dude that doesn't want to feel like he has a wet suit on!

I sized up in the jet stream. Both the original version and the latest version

6'2" 170lb I can wear a large or xl in the jetstream. The large doesn't leave room for a puffy. The xl is a bit sloppy without a puffy. Same with the guide except large and medium. I bought the guide since I didn't need windproof, guide jacket seemed more durable, and fit me a bit better. Overall I think the jetstream is a better jacket because of the wind membrane, and the pit zips come down the torso ( guide stops just below armpits), pitzip zippers function way easier on the jetstream.

At your height sitka should fit well, for me the arms and torso are usually too short.

I will mirror what others have said the Jetstream is my favorite. I own both Guide and Jetstream. The guide Jacket isn't as wind resistant. I can feel the wind blow through it. Jet stream not so much. I had the Jetstream out this last weekend and it performed flawlessly for me. Chilly Mornings and it kept me warm with just a traverse hoody under it. Im a huge fan of the Sitka system.

I love my Jetstream. 5 10, 185 and I wear an XL. It would not accommodate a puffy underneath but does fit another non-puffy layer comfortably.

Hmm.. Wondering if I should have sized up a little. I'm 5'8", 185 and I wear the Large. It fits me perfect without anything other than a couple light layers under it, but I couldn't really fit much under it.
