Jet Sled off the Dalton

Some of us lack the spinal disc space to believe 10 miles on the tundra is easiest (or smartest) packed on our backs rather than in a sled dragged over dry ground. In my 30s my body agreed with a pack, but I tried the sled anyway. I'm still hunting strong in my 50s because I did.

Try it with a pulk harness vs holding a drag rope. Completely different experience. But on the tundra, nothing comes easy.

Here's a DIY sled prototype I made out of HDPE vs UHMW while developing the LB Flex Sled back in 2015. Might be worth a stink eye view.

^^^Right on LB^^^

I've been using your sled for a half-dozen years, and we've hauled eight moose over the tundra with it...and it's still going strong. It pulls well and keeps its shape through the challenging tundra topography.

It took me many years of humping moose loads on my back to finally learn that sledding over tundra IS the way to go. I also use a harness and treking poles.

Thank you LB for designing and bringing it to the market for us!!

I mean they are pricey but specific to collapsing for stowing. IMO, the Viking Sled has sufficiently high walls and deep firm hull, and much cheaper option for road-accessible trips. Just sayin. Good hunting Y'all.
