anyone have experience using J-B Weld Steel Reinforced Epoxy (black and red) for installing Ethics Archery outsert system or any system for that matter? I do have some of the Firenock two part epoxy but was told JB weld was the way to go.

You will never never ever get them out. Other than that I am sure it would work great. I put an old car together with JB Weld once. I use Hot melt with all components nowadays and absolutely love it. The thing is I can get the inserts out if I want.

I also second hot melt. Have had very little issues with them if I do them right.

I think any will work. I got a big plug of it from iron will that should last forever. Every bow shop should carry it and it’s probably $7 for a stick.
I think that it is also used to mount the blade of a hockey stick to the shaft. I have never investigated this but… maybe the best deal on it would be like a hockey supplier.

I do have a blue colored stick of Bohning Ferra-L. I have used it on maybe 6 arrows but I had one insert pull out in a Rhinehart target so that kind of made me nervous to use it. I suppose I might have done that one arrow incorrectly.
