Javelina Thread

Appreciate it. My oldest and I whacked (or harvested ) 2 a couple years ago when he was a senior. This year is my youngest boy’s senior year. I just think it’s cool to have a couple kids from Montucky travel to the SW to chase AZ grizzlies. It’s a unique experience for kids from up here. I spend a lot of time down there, so it’s fun to share my experiences with them. I have a couple “guides” that are classic, born and raised, AZ hicks. Its a fun time.

Got my first javelina Friday ever, and with a bow. Makes my first deer, elk and javelina my first season with archery. I was in 4 herds before I got it done, cause I still choke a little as a newbie archer.

I missed one and then called this boar and another back over the hill crest 20 yards away and stuck him.
