Your pants or belt are likely the culprit to an IWB holster not being comfortable. To tight a waist band or a belt that doesn't support the weight of the firearm will cause most of your pain points.

Have carried both extensively. 16 plus hours a day. I lean towards Tenicor now but have had great luck with JM.Tenicor and JM Custom Kydex have served me well

I was just going to reply with that.Your pants or belt are likely the culprit to an IWB holster not being comfortable. To tight a waist band or a belt that doesn't support the weight of the firearm will cause most of your pain points.

Yup, that makes alof of senseTwo reasons IMO 1. my shorts fit a tick looser but the big one my waist to thigh size is odd. Shorts have looser leg room than my pants thus that little area between a front pocket and zipper is tighter in pants for me. And its hard to find pants that are loose there but where I still dont look like snoop dog baggy pants...
Thanks you sir! and I learned a new word!!!I have a similar issue with the thigh to waist size and a lot of pants being tight right at the bifurcation, especially with jeans. My solution has been start buying straight fit pants that are about two or three sizes too big and having the waist brought in. For example, I would normally wear a 36 waist pant (38 with an IWB) but most recently I bought 42's and then had the tailer take them in, cost me an extra $12 per pair but well worth it to me.
For holsters and belts, I use a Tier 1 Concealed Agis Elite with a custom wedge and either a Kore Essentials or Nexbelt Supreme. And I carry either a Sig P320 X Carry with an extended spare mag or a 4.25" 2011 with a spare 17 round mag.
Highly recommend following this video to get an idea about the custom wedge.
