So I’m doing a bull elk euro mount myself. I plan on bleach/peroxide the skull white, but I’d like to keep the ivories in the skull and maintain their stained yellow color.

Any tips?

Yep, pull them out and clean the tissue off. Glue them back in with white Elmer’s glue when the skull is done. Don’t use superglue because it will turn yellow.

Resurrecting this. Any pics of how it turned out?

I was planning to do the same, but after doing a test fit once my skull was clean, it looks very goofy as the ivories stick out from the skull more than anticipated. I guess I could cut them down, but seems like a waste of ivory.
