When the temps drops, snow flies, and chukar die...if unlike me you actually hit what you're shooting at. Anyone else getting the gear and hounds ready for prime time?

I've never hunted chukar, but I'll be out after some Montana roosters in December.

I can't wait to chase birds and take pictures of pups on point.

I would love to get out west a chase chukar some day. Quail, pheasants and sharptails will have to suffice for now....

Past two weeks these cold fronts have killed my hunting trips...my luck.

P.s. if anyone is looking for a new ecollar/tracker I have a TEK 1.0 listed in the for sale section

I got out yesterday, the deepest drift was up to my waist. Found a bunch of sage grouse and one covey of chukar. No birds were harmed in the death march.
