Picked up a new bow this year. Been shooting with a wrist release for years. After shooting for a couple of weeks i started to develop a small bump on my wrist, dosen't bother me much unless i look at it. No pain, not a solid lump but feels like it could be filled with fluid. Never had this issue with my other bow, almost identical #. Any one else ever dealt with this? Do i need to be concerned? A retired anesthesiologist friend looked at it and said it looked like a cyst......hell if i know.

I also had the same thing in the same spot.

Like others have said, the doctor called it a ganglion cyst.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it's impeding your range of motion or hurting you somehow.

Mine went away when I got my wrist slammed on a table due to being really bad at arm wrestling.

My buddy got one a couple years back after a month or two at the gym pumping iron...went to the doctor and the doctor said "guess you're just not built for weightlifting, forget about the gym and find another hobby."

At least our healthcare is "free" up here though right?
