I saw my first set of Swaro binos in 1999 while on a mule deer hunt when I was 12 years old. One day I swore I’d own a set and it took me a long time to make it happen. Then suddenly out of nowhere I developed a collection.

It’s a sickness and I think the only cure would be a set of NL Pure 8x42….

I need more of this attitude in my life! haha

If I'm being honest, this attitude is a legitimate problem. Bought my first rifle just over a year ago. I now have four rifles, five pistols, and all the reloading, range and hunting equipment one could ever need.... Still looking for that cure, but its been a fun search. 😂

If you're like me, you'll find the temporary cure is chasing other hobbies ;)

My shooting hobby was laid by the wayside while I dove head in to fly fishing, now I'm feeling the itch to shoot again so the cure must be fading.

I come from the offroading/camping/overland scene. This was supposed to be my "cheaper" hobby.

"Just one cool suppressed lever action rifle wouldn't hurt". LIES!

Nice collection. My first Swaro Bino was a first Gen EL 10x42 I bought in 2002 for the then princely sum of $1300.
I’m now giving serious consideration to a NL 14x52. At the better part of 4 grand, I’ve owned cars that cost less.
Yeah, it’s a sickness.😜

My first set was the 8x30 SLC for $500. Then I got the 8x32 EL that I traded for $600 worth of other stuff. That great deal on the EL cost me a lot of money since 😂

Dude, if i kept all the pairs of swaros I've owned over the years, one might commit me. One of my all time favorites were the 8.5x42 els. I actually regret getting rid of my 8x32 els. Loved those too.

Just don’t look down on those of us that don’t fly fish and also like to keep a few legal fish. Godspeed my friend! Haha

The 8x32 are the most “comfy” view I’ve ever experienced. I’m assuming the 8.5 will be similar but I’ve only owned them a few days and it’s dark by the time I get home and have time to play around with optics.

I keep a limit every now and then too. Fisheries need more fish removed in most places in the west.

I picked up some conventional tackle to bass fish, even though it felt dirty. I will feel really dirty if I start using those rods for trout 😂
