I care a hell of a lot more about whether a "method of take" is fair chase than trying to tell someone they are unethical for a given method of take. Ethics are individual, fair chase is definable.
Depends on where the arrow hits . All joking aside…. Hunting ethics vary a lot between people. I don’t tend to get emotional about it as long as it is legal. I killed a bull elk last season at 65 yards with a compound and a lot of people would call that “unethical” and I’m perfectly fine with that. It wasn’t their opportunity. We are all taking a chance every time we draw that string or pull that trigger, it’s just a matter of how much risk YOU are willing to take. One thing I do know in all of this is that you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take….. but that way of thinking could be deemed unethical .
