Is this solid color to light for archery elk?

I typical wear a combo of camo tops and solid bottoms (or just muted colors for both). But quite honestly does it make a difference on harvesting success rate on elk? I think playing the wind and not being detected while repositioning is most important. That said the Gray Khaki hoody is gonna make you stand out like a freaking light bulb or beacon. Stick to muted solids or camo.

The Stone Glacier puffy is just worn while sitting/glassing/not moving or hunting.

I like my Sitka Heavyweight hoody in coyote it’s just too heavy if the temps are above the mid 50’s ( if hiking).
I get that, but even glassing we move. have you ever noticed a guy hunting with a rifle and the rifle doesn't have a matte finish. when the sun hits, it gives off a glare. I've seen deer completely turn when seeing that. Also, I have the Sitka, its great stuff, but for moving it's a Merino tee or super thin base layer. When we sweat later, we get cold :)

Against a dark background it would be easier for any of us to see you, but it could be worse.

I like to blend in with my surrounding, does it matter to elk? Probably not a ton, if it helps some then I’m fine with it. It for sure helps conceal me from other hunters and I really don’t like being seen by others. Maybe I’m a weirdo but I’d rather not stick out like a sore thumb on a hillside or ridgeline, might give others the idea that it’s a good spot for them to check out. I’d rather just sit back and watch them unknowingly wander past.
yeah, I think camo is mostly about hiding from other hunters. I wear a lot of solids but they blend in pretty well. That said OP, go for it.
