Is this an okay bedding job?

Looks like a good bedding job to me, looks like recoil lug was bedded spot on with just the right amount of play in the front.

Yeah it's a horrible job but as others said see if it shoots, I'm guessing it might not but if it does... Otherwise it's an easy thing to learn how to do yourself. It's a little harder than changing your own oil but not much. Devcon plastic steel is best or the harder (dark gray) marine tex. Though I once used JB weld when I was on the road and needed to fix a buddy's bedding--it's held up fine. The brownells acraglass is actually some of the hardest to use bc it's so runny. You can get good results with it but it takes several more steps. I would definitely not use acraglass if I could avoid it. Both the plastic steel and the marine tex have a nice peanut butter consistency so they basically stay where you put them. A one lb container of plastic steel is like $35 online.
