if any of you are familiar with what bing birds eye view USED to be awhile back, some of the images were incredible. They were very helpful at times in my virtual scouting. Now with their updates it is mostly useless. Does anyone know of anything else with the quality of images they used to have? I use all sorts of stuff for my images, birds eye view added another perspective to the mix that i really miss having.

thanks

Zoom earth is pretty good. It seems to use the best images of all the sites. Make sure and click “map labels”, it’s not as user friendly as some sites, very basic.

yeah i did see that one......the image quality isnt good enough IMO for the lack of user friendly interface. i miss bing maps it really provided valuable intel at times. i cant tell you how many times while virtual scouting with it i actually found herds of elk that you could see

I don’t know about bing but the 3D on apple maps is pretty good.

the detail on the old bing birdseye which is no longer available was absolutely crazy. i was trying to find an old picture to post, but they are on my other computer i dont have out right now.

those apple maps look pretty decent though. if nothing else ill check them out as another possible resource

I'll have to check out Apple Maps. Zoom Earth is definitely good also. Seems much more realistic to areas I've visited versus Google Earth.

The quality is a little dumbed down from viewing on my phone. This one is google earth. Kinda cool that it’s from a different season than apple maps gives you an idea of water from early summer to fall. You can zoom in a little more on both but it gets blurry. Either one should show a herd maybe individual elk depending on the background.
