It all depends on terrain, distance and even physical conditioning. In other words, very subjective.

I think the question should be, "is the objective size worth the weight?"

Depends how you hunt and what you are used to for optics.

Even in vast open spaces, I don’t use spotters for more than an antler check, so bringing a larger objective bazooka would take a unique situation.

More often I actually leave them in the truck as the 12’s and 15’s are good enough to identify height and mass for me.
