is the kryptek valhalla similar to sitka ascent pants?

like the topic says---my sitka ascent pants which i love are about completely worn out and needing to be replaced soon. are the valhalla pants similar, and are they 4 way stretch? i really like the 4 way stretch of the ascent pants, ive tried 2 way stretch pants since using these and am always disappointed....which rules out the new kuiu tiburon or whatever they are called

I searched for a long time trying to find a pant I like. The ascent were ok, but to me the legs were too skinny all the way down and they were a little noisy. I decided after watching and reading a bunch of stuff from Aron Snyder to try the Valhallas. In my opinion they are a better fitting and quieter pant than the ascent for 2/3 the price. Mine are not silent but probably around half the noise level of the ascent pants and the thighs are much roomier allowing you to wear your actual waist size and also have just enough flare at the bottom to keep your pants from getting caught above your boot. Worn them 6 days in two weeks and show no signs of wear. Go to Kryptek's website and click on the apparel button under the products tab and you can read about the features there.

Get the Alios. They are much more durable and all season. You will love them.

They are a good bit lighter than the ascents. My buddy also ripped a couple small holes in his, in 1 7 day trip. The Valhalla is pretty light weight

well i have the ascent and the tiburon.. while i have only hunted with the tiburon 5-6 days .. they would definitely be my choice when it is hot.very comfy and cool. and the ascent when it gets a little cooler... would like to try the valhalla someday.

I have experience with the Ascents, Valhalla's and Tiburons. For hot, hot weather you absolutely cannot beat the Tiburons. Of the three, the Valhallas are definately the lightest. All three are nice pants, but I would put the Ascents as 3rd in that group. I do believe (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) that they are the only ones that are 4 way stretch though.

I am really liking the Alaios pants so far this year.

My Sitka Ascent pants used to be my favorite pants hands down. The Alaios definitely have more room to move and are really comfortable. I have hunted in them 11 full days and they still look new.

To the OP,
If you like the Ascent pants, I think you will definitely like the Alaios pants. I haven't tried the Valhallas yet so I can't comment on those. I will be ordering them soon though.
