Is Gray with a tinge of blue a hunt-able color?

There are some grays out there that seem to have a tinge of blue in them- but that are substantially gray.
Example: "Storm" color by Eddie Bauer

I know ungulates can see blue. Thus, is this color workable to hunt in. I'm assuming this is rifle hunting where solids are often more worn. For example, this $30 jacket is pretty good, and most hunting soft shells like this are $100+ if not much more.

Would you wear this rifle hunting?

I would 100% wear that rifle hunting. I don't think it really would make a difference rifle hunting. I'd probably even wear that color archery without worry.

I wear camo... but I'm a walking contradiction as I don't think it really matters.

I’m sure it would work fine zero issues wearing most clothing hunting. 99% of the time the animal smells me or catches movement. Wear camo for archery and turkey, predator and duck, but not sure that it helps that much…

It’s a little dark for me as I feel like dark colors like black will stand out more than lighter grey, brown, or green. As long as you stay out of sight and or don’t move much then it won’t matter anyways.

I've killed animals wearing Kuiu's "carbon" color clothes which is fairly close to that color.

We’ve all (ok all us old folks) have killed, captured or caught a vast collection of animals, birds and fish in all kinds of clothing. We’ve been in blue jeans, blue Jean jackets, old cream/yellow and white checkered flannel shirts with white/pearl snaps, sometimes down to just a white cotton undershirt it’s so hot. I’ve caught more fish on 5.5’ rods with Zebco 44’s or cane poles than…. You get the idea. What gives you the best opportunity? Know your prey, know where they want to be at any given time, hunt the wind, blend in and stay still until it’s time to draw. To blend in, know what your prey’s eyes can distinguish. Whitetails can see blues and grays very well.

I'd hunt in that for sure. I only get the slightest bit of blue out of it, and I've hunted for a long time in things that very color or really close to it. Looks like the color of a lot of trees under which I've sat!

I like your outside the box thinking on hunting clothes. For $30 maybe buy two or three of them in case they get trashed. I have a similar jacket I got on black Friday sale from Bass Pro I use for upland hunting. I figure if it gets annihilated hunting pheasant I'll chuck it and get a new one.
