Who has seen the new Iron Will Turkey & Small Game broadheads? Look like they should work good?!

Thoughts?

I’m wondering if
1) the small game “bleeder” blades are interchangeable with the regular bleeders and
2) if they will offer them separate.
They look good though!

They look good, and I have some IW for big game, but I'm not spending that on small game and turkey points that will end up in the dirt, bent up or lost.

New and improved Gen 2 Iron Will Turkey Head. I will be giving these a try this spring to see how they do.

The blunt claw is replaced with a 90 degree double bevel claw fo better penetration.

Second-Generation Design Update:
This model is Iron Will’s latest 2nd generation Turkey Broadhead. The original version with the blunt Claw is now offered as the Iron Will Small Game Broadhead. This updated Turkey Broadhead features a 90 degree double-beveled Claw for slightly increased penetration while maintaining the massive knockdown power turkey hunters rely on.

LOL ...

I'd definitely like to hear how these perform also. Looking at bowhunting turkey for the first time this spring

If it’s your first go, I probably wouldn’t spend the money on these. I’ve killed a bunch of turkeys with a bow, all 2”+ expandable. Rage used to make a 2.3” for turkey, not sure if they still do. Cutting diameter is all that matters

Well shot placement is most important, so being able to get away with a slightly out of tune bow with an expandable compared to a giant fixed is probably another notch in the belt for expandable. I’ve had a few turkey hunts turn into real rodeos thinking I made a perfect shot

Appreciate the insight! I wouldn't pull the trigger on these until I've gotten my confidence up but I keep getting adds for them. I just moved to KY and they have a lot of primitive weapon WMAs here so I wanna start hunting with my bow more

Starting out, a blind, decoy, and shots inside 20yds will be your friend. The last two years I’ve started bow hunting them without a blind, and it has been fun, but incredibly frustrating and tough. Last year I think I went 0/20, year before was like 1/15 lol. It’s kind of like spot and stalk archery antelope where you have to execute everything perfectly.

Getting them facing away on a decoy from a blind and giving them the Texas heart shot is definitely the easiest way to be successful with a bow from my experience

Yeah I got skunked last year with my shotgun but only got to hunt two days. This year I'm hoping to get some decent time in the woods. I've got a spot I found last year that will give me that 20 yard shot nicely. I'll build a bush blind next month to get ready for April.
