iron will sharpener

question, i have watched a few videos and read a bit on ways to sharpen them but had a question.

on the iron will site they sell a pull trough sharpener that is for broad heads and knives but its set at 40 degrees but everything i have see on read says to sharpen at 20-22 degrees. why would that sharpener they sell be set at 40?

Sir a double sided 40° sharpener sharpens each blade at a 20° angle. Their sharpener is 40° so you can pull blade through that diamond and both side have been touched up at a 20°

Ah, probably should of figured that out without asking, hadn't had coffee yet

Yeah I would almost guarantee that is 40 degrees inclusive. 40 a side is like a splitting maul.

Thanks for answering guys. Yes, carbide sharpener is 20 degrees per side, 40 degrees total.
