How loud do feel like the wides are, like on a scale of 1 to 10?

They are louder than the standard solids I've shot I'd put them a little quieter then the black hornets but I think that noise is behind the arrow and not in front where a deer will hear it

SB125s have been flying great to 60 for me, I haven’t tried to shoot them further. I’ve only killed two deer with them but neither made it 30 yards. Didn’t know they were hit and just poured blood and walked away. Both shots were on the money but the chest cavity was destroyed.

Both of my bows shoot all 3 tge same to 30 , by 40 my groups are still tight but the wides have a different impact point , at 50 and 60 yards tge wides still fly good and group good just not with the field points anymore , if keeping shots inside 40 yards inrrally like the wides solid. They are very quiet.

Like everyone else has said, if you properly shaft/nock tune your arrows, you should have no problem. I have the 100g wide vented, and 125g solid single bevels and both group amazingly well. I practice out to 100 yards and notice no difference (within my abilities) in grouping. My realistic ethical shot range is about 70 yards. I shot the same head in practice 5-6 times a day and continually touched it up on a sharpening stone since june when I first got them. This season so far it has been through a Turkey at 51 yards, and a large doe quartering hard towards. The doe entered through the neck/trachea, through 2 ribs just off center of the brisket, continued to slice into but not through multiple ribs, and ultimately through 2 more ribs on exit. One crazy thing I've never seen before this is, where it cut into ribs as it traveled down the inside rib cage, it made a cavitated pocket of blood that was trapped between the hide and ribs. The doe made it about 15 yards and went lights off and tumbled down the hill. The head is still in excellent condition and I plan to continue to use it with no hesitation. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for. I will never shoot anything different. The solids are def more quiet than the vented, but IMO unless you're hunting really skittish animals that are aware of your presence at long range, it shouldnt have that much effect. They're more likely to respond to the initial sound of your bow than the flight of the broadhead

Shot a buck at 35 with a wide a bit forward of what I wanted broke the offside shoulder and kept going I won't shoot another head for my needs

Let’s say the your bow isn’t perfectly tuned but results are good with field points. Anyone able to comment on forgiveness of the Wide? If you took a standard at 30 and wide at 30 would the results be similar?

as long as you have your bow tuned you shouldnt notice a difference between any of them. vented will be easier to tune, the solid wides are going to be the toughest because of the blade surface area. vented will be the only ones that arent silent though. each has their advantage. ive killed multiple deer with the standards and have been impressed with everything about them but the bloodtrails. magnus is a great option too but i have had a couple bend on me, one hitting a rock after going through a deer, and the other hitting a bone.
