Iron will broadheads S150 vs W150

Trying to decide on whether to go with S150 or W150 grain iron will broadheads for my recurve setup. Will be shooting 45lb no further then 20 yards Mainly hunting whitetails. Which one would be my better choice ?

How good is your tune? Those heads are so stupid sharp I think you could shoot the wide version with a 35lb bow and get two holes if the bow is well tuned.

Also those wide heads really aren’t that wide. They look huge in product photos but they’re a pretty normal head still.

Is this your first trad bow? I’d be hesitant to assume that will tune correctly straight right off the bat.

Yes this is my first trad bow, Christmas present so I got plenty of time to get ready before September

Congratulations! I’d wait on cutting arrows down/buying premium components till you get a real solid tune. You may find you’d prefer 200 gr heads (or 125gr).

Ive personally never shot iron wills yet, but planning on it. I shoot two heads that are a similar shape as the wills with my tune i cannot tell any difference in what shoots better so Id go with the wider head just for the bit more blade.
