iPhone hotspot for wifi game camera???

I tried searching for info but I cant seem to find a clear answer...

If I buy a wifi game camera can I use my phones hotspot to link to the game cam and pull the images off of it? I know I'd have to be close to it, but it beats having to remove the memory card and all of that process. Thanks

You should be able to connect to the cameras Wi-Fi network on your phone and get the photos. That’s the design intent I believe. But for the price of a Tactacam and a couple months of cell service, I’d highly recommend going that route. It’s awesome having photos pop up on your phone anywhere in real time.
