Starting to get concerned about ordering them. I am waiting on a back order I got through a nice discount but am reading a lot of issues lately on a couple sites such as her with the waterproofing. Beginning to wonder if I should cancel my order and find something else.

Lotta good boots out there

My hunting partner just made the switch to Crispis. He is blown away with the design, construction and materials.

If they're top quality meet your needs, fit and are backed by quality customer service I'd say give the brand of your choice a chance. Lots of happy Lowa customers.

I am on my third year with my Tibets no issues with waterproofing.its a great burly boot. It is on the heavy side but that’s normal for an all leather boot.

Going into year six on a pair of Meindls and still waterproof. This is my second pair. Wore the first ones out in seven years. I hope they don’t change anything about them.

Not sure what issues you’ve heard about but the Tibet’s are the same as they have always been. We haven’t had any issues with our Tibet’s we’ve used or sold this year.

My Tibet's are no longer waterproof after only two years of use. My buddy has sent 3 pairs back to Gore-Tex and have actually replaced all 3 pairs. I really like the comfort of my Tibet's and how well they handle steep and slick terrain. I just gotta have water proof boots so I don't know what I am going with next. If Gore-Tex replaces my boots, I have to stick with Gore-Tex boots. At this point, I think I will try Hanwag Alaska GTX's. I heard their customer services sucks though, but Gore-Tex has been great to work with.

That’s good to hear.

Main issues I hear is either waterproofing or breaking down. I've considered the Crispi but everyone I know that actually abuses and puts a lot of miles on them say they are great and comfortable but don't last as long
