Hey everyone! Ryan here. First off, I love this site already. The layout is awesome and I feel it covers alot of topics in the forum titles to keep it organized. As well as alot of knowledge within the users here. Hopefully that will be me someday. Haha

I'm from Eastern Iowa. Only really ever hunted whitetail around here. My grandpa got me started in archery and got me interested in bowhunting. I've harvested a few does over the years with a compound. I took a break for about 5 years after my wife and I had kids. About a year ago I got the itch to want to go hunting regularly again, so I got myself a used Black Widow to give it another go. Had tag soup last fall, but saw alot of deer and almost had a shot on a couple. Our kids are now 6 and 8 and I got them a recurve bow to learn to shoot last summer I also got my wife a compound so we can all enjoy shooting the bow together.

I look forward to learning from everyone here as well as sharing the little bit that I know. I have dreams of going out west to try my hand at elk hunting sometime soon if I get a chance.
