ALTUS™ 22 Titanium Suppressor

COST: $449.00

The ALTUS™ 22 was engineered for shooters who demand exceptional suppression without unnecessary weight. Constructed entirely from titanium, the ALTUS™ 22 weighs just 4.3 ounces, making it virtually disappear on the end of a pistol or rifle while delivering outstanding sound reduction and balance.

Designed around the .22 LR platform, the ALTUS™ 22 excels on bolt-action rifles and rimfire pistols. Whether you're shooting steel, hunting small game, eliminating pests, or simply enjoying a quiet day at the range, the ALTUS™ 22 delivers the performance and reliability expected from T & K Suppressors.

Beyond traditional rimfire use, the ALTUS™ 22 is also rated for 5.7×28mm and can be safely used on bolt-action 5.56 NATO and .22 Creedmoor rifles, giving shooters an incredibly lightweight suppressor option for precision centerfire applications where rapid strings of fire are not required.

Precision manufactured from titanium, the ALTUS™ 22 offers outstanding corrosion resistance, exceptional strength, and years of dependable service in an incredibly compact package.

Sounds sweet and love the price point! I bet you sell 10 boat loads!

This will direct thread onto a 1/2x28 threaded barrel?

Is there a minimum barrel for 22cm?

Any suppression numbers yet?
Testing on some MK18's today. Will confirm minimum barrel lengths later this afternoon. With the Alpha direct thread, correct. It can thread onto a 1/2X28.

We don't post internal metering numbers anymore. The cheaper $5K - $10K meters that everyone uses are not accurate / fast enough to capture true LZ peak. We test almost every week and use baselines, but for public consumption? Negative. This can will be headed to Silencer Summit to get accurate numbers with an actual impulse system that is fast enough to capture true LZ peak.

But, the can does sound damn good. Same internal geometry stack as our ALTUS and VORIX, which has gotten some pretty high praise on Silencer Analytics. VORIX numbers from PEW Science will be posting soon. That one is going to be epic.

Minimum barrel length for the 22 Creedmor is 16.5"

Obviously, having longer barrels will decrease the mount of erosion over time.

They are LIVE on the website!

Ok thanks!

Shocked this can with the listed specs at $449 hasn’t drummed up more excitement on here. I don’t have an excuse to own a 22cm with Colorado’s 243 minimum but bore that thing out to 257 and I’m in! 😜

Dude I shot 60 consecutive rounds through it today on the MK18 and it survived. The people don't know what they don't know but it's all good bro!

Looks like a nice can for a nice price.

My take on some of the reception, which is probably worth what you are paying for it:

Your first post comes across as it is a 22 LR can that happens to hold up to 223 and 22 creed. But the reality sounds like it is a dedicated .224 centerfire can. The first perception might be part of the issue.

Personally I would post numbers and just state the meter is not perfectly reliable.

The burn down video would also be far more interesting than the one you posted, which reinforces the idea this is really a remfire can.

Best of luck.

Edit: I see it is a remfire can than is safe on a 22 creed. What I care about is performance on a 223 and 22 creed as that would be my use, I don't need a remfire can.

If I did, this one would be high on my list.

It's made for multiple platforms. That's the glory of it. You can put it on. 22LR pistol, 5.56 bolt, 22LR bolt, or 22 Creed (though there are better cans for 22 Creed that offer more suppression than a 4.75" - 1.3" diameter can). That's why we made it in HUB Alpha. It can go on any barrel while being a multi use can with a proven high performance stack. You will see that when PEW Science drops on the VORIX.

Silencer Summit is next month. I hope every suppressor company sends their cans for testing on an impulse system. That will be more interesting than guys using cheap, unreliable meters to market with.
