Here is a pic of the Rambler with the Gunwerks Magnus(big gun). The Rifle has a NF NXS scope, 10 round magazine and bi-pod. The pack soaks it up no problem! I have a few more pics, I will post when I have time.

That's a no brainer! Everyone needs both!

Lol, easier said than done Justin! Maybe I'll pick a bikini up down the road.

Can anyone tell me the ballpark dimensions. I just scrolled through this thread to see if I could find anything and didn't see it. I believe the bag is about 2000ci but is there a H x W x D measurements that I missed?

If I recall, it's 2800ci and 20 inches tall. Not sure on width and depth....I'd guess about 12ish wide...

Ok, That helps, thanks mt100gr! I'm just gauging whether another rain cover I have will fit it (Kuiu small). I think it might work. Looking forward to mine getting here. Looking forward to hearing back from Heath on the order confirmation!

Aron, any chance you have a picture of the Rambler with a less-than-ideal load strapped down. Like a pop up blind or a tree stand or a chainsaw? My Nomad is so versatile with the grab-it in being able to adjust for height and wrap around almost anything I would want on my back....how low can the load sling of the Rambler be slung. And is the rifle scabbard on it rigid at all when empty, or will it wrap tight around whatever is sandwiched in between, again without a rifle inside?
Thanks. I know you're busy.

fusion looks pretty good........ have to see some black and whites of it.

I can tell you that I hunted the late season here in Idaho with my stickbow. I wanted to shoot a particular buck on the ground. I hunted about 8 days and had deer really close several times. Had a doe and fawn maybe 5 yards from me feeding for around 3 minutes. I was head to toe in Fusion and they where looking right through me. That's good enough for me.

For the mostly bow hunters, any pictures of this pack with a bow strapped on?

God Bless.

Bringing this back up...if there's any chance of seeing the Rambler on a bikini frame, carrying an awkward load on any frame, and carrying a bow, that would be awesome. I always log on hoping the "new pack" threads will be back up brimming with new info and ideas. :)
