Whats up Roksliders - just taking the opportunity for a quick introduction since Im not technically a FNG having originally joined in 2013.
From southern California - where deservedly we get a bad rap for over regulation, ridiculously high cost of living and over crowding (among many other things) - however we still have some amazing outdoor opportunities to be in true wilderness and experience raw natural beauty that at its essence has fueled & brought many of us to this forum to share & learn from each other.
It is great to see how much RS has continued to grow over the years. While still keeping the raw DNA of hardcore backcountry hunters. Even in this age of social media influencers and algorithms I still know and trust RS for the lens of actual users where so much rides on gear and experience. Its also great to see RS expand to the point of not only providing feedback to the industry but to now directly drive it. From throwing backpacks off a cliff in testing to partnering with manufacturers to create designs and specs that feed and expand the market. Stocks, optics and whatever else is in the works.
Thanks to everyone who contributes & shares to make Rokslide what it is.
And to any other fathers - Happy Fathers day!
