Not a lot of room in the garage but I’ve got a 10‘ x 18“ for the ceiling shelving unit on the one side.
I’d take a photo but it’s the maids day off.

That’s a pretty cool idea making your garage into a “carport”. You keep your garage way cleaner than mine .

i just painted it white with plain old paint. Easily washes off with the garden hose and really brightened up the garage. Can see stuff much better while working on things

I painted and mine back in the day with a two-part epoxy paint and tinted it a light taupe color and put some shark grip granules on top of it for grip.

It’s semi gloss and can get quite slippery

This was before they had those guys with the garage floor paint.

Note, you can’t re-coat once it’s painted. So make sure the floor is prepped incredibly well.

we are talking walls here, i have unpainted floors. epoxy is the only thing that works good up here for floors, paint wont withstand the salt, rocks and sand from winter.

This is a shop I wrapped up this summer, but a garage could be done this way as well. Even a 4’ wainscot and then plywood or drywall walls above that. Something easily washed and somewhat durable (also easily replaced 1 panel at a time if something gets wrecked) from the 4’ and below is a good way to lean in my opinion.

Also, if you have tall ceilings, get garage door risers. All that trash hanging from the ceiling is gross
