Interesting new Water Bottle

Found this on Facebook https://vimeo.com/131335389 check it out. Takes a while to gather water but for very humid climates they say it can do a liter in an hour. Kind of cool. If they perfect it for all areas.

You do not need a filter. desalinated water is 100% pure H20 so no need to filter. Its the same concept anyways from what I understand but without the salt. and it doesn't come from ocean but takes it from the humidity in the air. Someone correct me if Im wrong on that..

I think Bruce has a good point. I hunt a few areas where it is simply impractical to hike water back and forth from the source to the hunt and camp area, while hunting the water sources remains unproductive during the day. Distance to water from a hunt area can be a significant factor in being able to hunt an are for anything over overnight. The bottom line is that we can only carry so much water, and that limit, limits us in many respects.

i would like to see this technology expanded to include a large hydration bag unit.

Is this for real or just a late "April Fool" ? If you read the entire presentation, then go to the bottom of the article, there is a Million dollar portable pizza oven, and a 37 thousand dollar blue tooth butt plug. Not sure I can take this serious.

I would still caution the need for filtration.

Yes, condensed moisture is 100% pure. Would you drink the water dripping out of your cars AC system?
