Was messing around online and on app store, but wasn't able to come across anything particularly useful. I know there used to be one that allowed you to pan U/D and L/R both 360 degrees for different angles, and you could peel back hide, fat, bones to show systems and organs. That would be great, but not really necessary. Just want to start going over shot placement with my young son. Obviously we can look at static pictures and discuss, but something more like a game that goes smoothly and keeps his attention would be preferable. Whitetail will be our target species, but any deer would work for intended purpose.

When I go to actually shoot the only element that can be changed is distance on a right to left broadside animal at ground level. Be nice to see different angles on deer from elevated position.
At the top left of the main screen it says main settings. In there I'm able to change the angle of the animal and the height of the shot

10-4. Every time I shot it also said "Heart / Lungs / Bone," even if I shot the ground. Took it off my phone, but I guess I can pay the $2.99 again. Could also be desktop vs phone.

Where do I want the bullet to exit. Isnt a bad way of thinking.

This, aim for your exit! I could have used an app like that for clients!

Amazes me the lack of the basics some have!

I bought a huge poster of a whitetail deers anatomy and put it in the change room to show folks where to aim.

I use the bowhunt simulator version of the app you mentioned. It works great for me (on Android) and gives different angles, distances and the impact zone result has always worked well. Its geared toward archery but works fine for rifle too.

I've found it very useful for making shot selection, shot placement, and choosing the correct aiming point for ranges between my bowpin settings something I can do automatically without thinking.
