Integral rail mounts on tikka vs top mounts

On a Tikka 3x, would it not be more durable to use the integral rail system? Scope is, of course, the SWFA 6x 42. , and rifle caliber is 6.5 cm. My goal is durability of platform for mtn hunts ( no iron sights for backup is new to me). I see the Roksliders mentioning the Talley mounts, and I wonder is these top mounts would surpass a mount that utilizes the integral rail.

Integral every time if possible, especially if zero retention is a primary concern. If I don't have that option I want to epoxy a full length rail on, and I still don't trust it QUITE the same.

the best mounting solution for your combo is the Sportsmatch T084. They work extremely well. Perhaps the unknown munitions rings will be as good or better, but they're not in the wild yet, and will cost 4x the sportsmatch.

If you prefer a rail, some come with a recoil lug, Mountain Tactical being one. I’ve used rails, Sportsmatch rings, Warne rings and Talleys on my Tikkas. All work, but the Sportsmatch rings are hard to beat for a number of reasons, including ruggedness.
