Insulated layers questions

Wanted to hopefully get the opinions of some of you that have hunted late seasons.
Next year I am planning to hunt CO in the late season Rifle hunts.

I have only been out west 1 time so far and am looking to go back with the rifle. I know the weather can get pretty bad as far as snow and temps.
Right now I am running Sitka gear and have lightweight, heavy weight base layers Kelvin jacket and Jetstream.
These did well for me when I was out the last time in archery season in later Sept but the temps only really got down in the 30s.

I know with the late season hunts it can get way below that so I am wanting to get some good insulated pants and Jacket.
The ones I am looking at now are the Kuiu Superdown Pro Hooded Jacket and the Kuiu Superdown Pro insulated Pants.

What are some other options I sould look at?
I am not stuck on one brand or another. But I would like them to be fairly compact to pack down and fairly easy on and off so I am able to put them on while glassing and take them off when moving around as I know the insulated type stuff isnt going to be as durable as some of the other stuff.

That jacket is fine, I don’t use the puffy pants and just wear a heavy weight wool
pant and a merino base-layer. The pants are good for sleeping and glassing but I tend to move enough that I just don’t use them. I prefer to have more insulation layers to better regulate heat I sweat fairly easy so it’s important for me to remove a layer. Make sure you do have a good wind stopper outer layer. Also don’t neglect hand protection I prefer a shell with insulated gloves and a thin merino base.

This past week I hunted in SW Montana. The temps were anywhere from 5 to 15 in the mornings and 25 to 30 during the day. As far as puffies are concerned I wore Black Ovis puffies. On top I had a light synthetic Sitka base, a Sitka fanatic mid layer or a Black Ovis Merino mid layer and then my Sitka Jetstream jacket. Typically I would walk in with just the lightweight base and the midlayer. Then add the Jetstream and if need be the BO puffy underneath the Jetstream. One thing I found was that my back would sweat with my back pack on regardless of what I was wearing. There were times I just wore the lightweight base layer and the Jetstream or the base layer and the mid layer. Didn't matter. However, The BlackOvis puffy pants and jacket performed fine. They kept me warm during long glassing sessions and packed down very well. A big plus is that they are very inexpensive compared to the other brands out there.

Is the Black Ovis puffy the Black Ovis Anchor point? or the Recon?

Those will suit you well.

The Kuiu zip off bottoms are also a personal favorite. I think some are on sale right now and while they don't add near the same insulation they are cheap and effective while taking up little space/weight.
