I also tend to run warm and am a big fan of my Kuiu Kenai.

It's more of an active, slightly puffy. I wear it under my shell for colder/windier conditions.

I'll probably tough it out with gray. Just self conscious after wife told me I looked like a Michelin man. Lol. I haven't seen the SG Brown or green in person but had seen gray.

They would make you look like the Michelin man after rolling around in a wallow

You could also look at the Skre gear they have a very nice down jacket and vest.

Thanks all ended up buying the Grumman down jacket. Then the wife and in-laws ended up getting me the SG Cirque jacket. Looks like I should stay warm this season lol

Rab jackets have excellent packability and are just really nice jackets to wear about even not on the hunt!
