Instant eyelets for Silnylon

Would this be a good option for eyelets on a Silnylon tarp?

Pretty cool design. I don't know that I would trust it for main staking points but it might work just fine for impromptu tie out points.

Doing a quick search for more info, it appears they are cheaper here with 4 for $6.99

I was trying to figure a way to make life easier but guess I should learn how to sew and do it right.

i agree with colonel, they would be good for impromptu uses. they would have some handy uses for lots of other gear too.

I sure wouldn't trust them, no personal experience but I've never seen anything that competes with the standard sewn-on loop.
