Hot weather elk hunts...Is there an organic/OMRI bug repellant that works really well that doesn't smell?

according to military researchers deet is the only thing that really repels skeeters. i take a small bottle of pure deet on every september hunt. i have used it once in all the years I have gone elk hunting and that was in colorado on the archery opener down low right at the camp, it was the only place skeeters were that i saw.

The Mozzie’s really love me. I’m the bait at parties. DEET is virtually ineffective for me, they still mass around and get me big time even slathered in DEET. Lemon eucalyptus spray is the only thing I’ve found that helps. It works really well on me, not 100% but way better than anything else. I do have friends where DEET works and a couple that don’t and the lemon eucalyptus works for them too. Must be some weird chemistry combinations going on. If DEET doesn’t work for you try the lemon eucalyptus and see.
