There is a clear indisputable difference between crossbows and vertical bows, a major one being the motion required to draw the bow as well as maintaining the draw position. I don’t care if people shoot deer with crossbows (I have done it), but to consider having separate seasons with the exception of medical dependency for a crossbow is not a radical concept as much as you want to portray it as one. Again, the idea is to reduce the effectiveness of hunters, myself included.

Im deaf. Gut shoot most archery deer cause they hear me move to draw. But not “handicapped”. So i kill but cant recover most archery shot deer w a bow.

Have finally gotten over it but can only lose a deer every 3 or 4 yrs w quota hunts around here. 2018 got 1 loat 1. 2021 lost 1. Next year might draw again. We’ll see.

Good thing is that i can’t use the evil xbow in my closet. Would be immoral.

Had given up bow hunting after losing 2 bucks. As i said dont care anymore. Either i get to hunt or i sit home. So i hunt. Any lost deer is the state’s fault. 47th rifle season coming in 2025. Archery suxs. But most guys seem to make bad shots and lose archery deer without being deaf.
