So i have a dilemma about an outfitter i posted a review about last fall. Cody Carr`s Hunting Adventures. The people that know me and the many people I have hunted with know me and my personality. I always try my best to post my experiences on hunts, whether outfitted or DIY. After my rifle elk hunt with Cody Carr last November, i decided to post a review on Bowsite. I thought it out and did my best to describe exactly how the hunt unfolded. It took Cody a long time to reply. I have had a few calls regarding Cody Carr recently. Wanted to bring this back to the top since the Montana draw results just came out a week or so ago. Heed the reviews of this hunt and many others. Doubt them and you will likely be disappointed.

I booked a hunt with his dad 20 years ago back when Cody was a young and guiding for him. Cody did not guide with us, even though he was supposed to. I had a similar experience with his dad and the guides that others report now with Cody. Hunt was not what was advertised at all. Shady, dishonest events. Basically ended up hunting diy. That was the last “guided” elk/ deer hunt for me. Been diy since and have had way better hunts.

What a POS.... Granted you always have to give the benefit of the doubt when reading reviews because unhappy people speak the loudest. ** but.... everyone of the bad review responses have a feel to them that strikes me as wrong. If you are hunting the same trails as everyone else... thats not guiding, thats following
