Recently got some dry lube and application media for my case necks and noticed that the little application media balls stick in the case quite often and I have to tap the case to get them to fall back out. Is this normal and something you guys just deal with, or am I doing something wrong?

Also, after applying the graphite, do you guys wipe off the outside of the case, or do you just deal with the graphite all over your hands?

I apply the imperial dry lube with a q-tip to the inside of the case mouth only.

Just out of curiosity, how are you putting the case into the media?

I hold the case vertically, insert it into the media, neck first, up to the shoulder and remove..... case is always vertical and never had any media get stuck in the case neck. But the smallest caliber I've used it with is .264. Are you using a smaller caliber?

I take the same approach. Haven’t really had issues with beads in the case or excessive powder mess. Just started using the dry neck lube though and have only loaded 50 rounds of 7 mag with it

Exact same way, but I give it a little twist while in the media. And I'm loading .264 with it.

I loaded up 50 rounds last night and never had a bead stick.. not sure what was going on the last time, but I was having a lot of beads stick?

Cool. Glad it works now.

Maybe the new beads weren't coated in the lube? They just needed to be agitated.
