my wife needs a sleeping bag since she now has gone on her first backpack trip this weekend. her current sleeping bag simply doesnt crush down that tightly..and eats up a lot of pack space. it's a womans Marmot teton or something. she loves my WM alpinlite and i didnt think i would wrestle it from her fierce fingers.. i think buying her a quilt that i could also use justs make the most economical sense. i've been searching used WM bags and they still command a premium.
i'm thinking the EE engima. a 10 degree quilt. i know you all that have them love them..i had no idea they were made to order. oh well..timing should be right for her birthday.
